The silent beach, the empty sand.
Between the lashing sea and the lifeless land.
Standing alone in a faraway sight,
The stones wage a silent fight.
So many come, so many go,
Stuck in life’s daily to and fro.
They say, they come to reclaim life,
Then why do they return back to strife ?
I wish they learnt from these silent stones,
Life gives a lot of reasons to smile, none for moans.
I wish they learnt from the lashing sea,
That there is a life beyond the word me.
I wish they learnt from the silent beach,
That the limits lie at an endless reach.
I wish they learn from the lifeless land,
That there is only as much as they can use their hand.
I wish they learnt from the golden horizon,
What sets down, only comes up tomorrow as the glowing sun.
