She shall come

Tears dot my little eyes,
As I measure the distance between our skies.

So many shoulders to cry,
But the tears refuse to dry.

The eyes, they keep on searching,
The lips, try to sing

Hoping to get back the lost smile,
Hoping it would remove the distant mile.

But truth, it does not relent.
Forgiveness, seems, isn’t for me meant.

It stings me by the seconds,
A platter of pains, it sends.

Yet the hopeless heart refuses to bend,
Waiting silently, for the one more than a friend.

The mind, it gives away,
No more poems, come its way.

The lips only sing the pain,
The smiles aren’t sung again.

Still the hope, continues casting its faint shadow,
For surely before the last heartbeat, up she shall show
